Do you think girls are raised differently from boys? If so, in what ways?

I believe girls are raised differently than boys. Because growing up girls are taught that if they are with multiple men than they are a whore. And if they do that than no men will want to marry them. But boys are raised believing that it’s okay to be with multiple women. It is even encouraged in today’s society for guys to be with multiple women because it’s cool. Guys will even make fun of women if they get with more than one man. Another way boys and girls are raised differently is boys are taught to hide their emotions and of they don’t than they will be made fun of.

Blog question #3

I think one of the best things to happen as a result of smartphone are people who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, etc. being able to find others with the same problems. These people are the only people that truly understand what it’s like to have these symptoms, and they can have a big impact on each other’s life by being there for them when no one else understood what it was they were going through. Another positive outcome of smartphones is people who may have had no friends to talk to because they were interested in stuff most people aren’t interested in can find people on the internet interested in the same thing and become friends with them.

Blog question #1

The way I communicate with friends most of the time, is through social media. With family I usually text or call. This is different from 15 years ago because 15 years ago there was no such thing as social media and there was no texting. There were cellphones, but they could only call usually. The creation of social media has made people introverted and outroverted all at once as they may struggle to hold a conversation in person, they may be able to talk for hours with friends on social media apps like Snapchat. Overall in my opinion the creation of smartphones that can text and download social media apps that enable people to communicate with one another has had a benefit on our society, allowing people with problems to find other people with similar problems and help each other.

Would You Rather 1

I would rather be unknown when alive and famous when I die. I would rather be famous once I’m dead because then my family could make money when someone uses my name or likeness. They could also just brag about being related to me, they could be like “Yeah that Andre LaJoye guy was my grandpa dude.” and I think that would be cool. It would also be cool to have statues and cool stuff like that made in my honor. But I think it would be really cool to be able to financially support my family, even after being gone for years.

Would You Rather 8

I would rather be married to a ten with a bad personality than a six with a good personality. I would rather be married to a ten with a bad personality beacause my personality is great. I laugh at my own jokes more than I laugh at other people’s jokes. Obviously a partner with a good personality is a bonus, but personally I can live without And plus who in the right mind would turn down a 10? So all I’m trying to say is this was a real no brainer for me, some people may have differing opinions but I strongly stand by mine.

Would You Rather 4

I would rather never watch another movie or TV show than never use social media sites/apps again. I would never watch another TV show or movie again, because I don’t usually watch TV shows or movies. I am on my phone on social media a lot more often than I am watching TV. I am on social media more often because it is more interesting and there is a lot of different stuff to look at. TV and movies are all predictable at this point, they all end the same way with the antagonist of the show being caught and locked up.

Question 2(10-9-17)

Yes, if a person commits a crime they will be put in jail and it will prevent them from threatening anyone else’s rights. If someone commits murder they will be placed in jail and be deprived of there rights of freedom so they can’t harm anyone else. But that is the only circumstance they can be taken away legally. Other than that it is inhumane to take away ones natural rights for the betterment of a larger group. That is my opinion on whether or not natural human rights can be taken away for the safety of a larger group.

Question 1 (10-9-17)

Human rights are the basic rights acquired at birth by all humans. These rights are universal and cannot be taken away by any government. Some of these rights include the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, every human has the right to live, do as they please, and be happy. Those three rights are exercised everyday by almost all humans. Most humans also have the right to freedom of thought, and the right to freedom expression. Meaning we all have the right to believe in whatever we want such as religion, and we all have the right to say what we want about whatever.

What Would be on the Mixtape of My Life

If I had to make a mixtape of my life it would have a lot of fun songs. It would have a few sad songs but mainly fun songs. It would be mostly rap. I don’t really have a favorite artist l, but right now I listen mostly to Lil Uzi Vert. He isn’t very popular with older people but he is very popular among younger people. The music that isn’t rap would be by bands like Nirvana or Red Hot Chili Peppers, it would include songs such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana or “Can’t Stop” by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
